About this mason neck gift
Mason Neck is a peninsula in Fairfax County, Virginia, jutting into the Potomac, and the people who call it home tend to talk about the water, the quiet roads and the bald eagles more than the city they're technically part of. A Mason Neck shirt is how they signal that they're from the peninsula rather than from the crowded parts of northern Virginia. It suits anyone who grew up there, anyone who still makes the drive back for family, and anyone who simply loves the place. A hoodie works well for the riverside evenings that stay cool into spring, and a mug suits the morning coffee on a deck facing the water. If you're buying for someone who's moved away, the name on an 11oz mug is a small piece of home for the kitchen they've set up somewhere else. You can add a second line such as a street, a year or a neighborhood to make it theirs.
