About this mattydale gift
Mattydale is a hamlet in the town of Salina in Onondaga County, New York, a small place where people tend to know their neighbors and stay for a long time. That kind of loyalty is what a Mattydale shirt speaks to. It's the thing you wear to the local diner, to a reunion of people who grew up there, or when you're the one who moved away and still gets homesick for the place. Because the community is small, a shirt with the name stands out in a crowd, and the people who recognize it will likely have a story about it. The best way to make it theirs is to add something only they would connect with, like a street, a graduation year, or the name of the school they went to. Mattydale is a name most people outside the area won't know, so a personal second line does more of the work than the city name does.
