About this merna gift
Merna is a small place, and the people who grew up there or moved away from it usually know exactly what that means. Little towns like this one don't get souvenir shops, so a shirt or mug with the town's name on it is often the only thing a former resident can wear to say where they're from. It's a conversation starter at a reunion, a surprise for someone who left years ago, or a way to show pride for a hometown that doesn't show up on most maps. Because the place is small, the people who know it will notice the detail, so type the name exactly as they'd write it and add a second line for the year they moved, a school class, or the street they grew up on. A hoodie works well for cold-weather visits home, and a mug suits a kitchen where everyone still ends up talking about the old days.
