About this montpelier gift
Montpelier is the smallest state capital in the country, and the people who live there tend to be proud of it. They know the town by its brick downtown, the river running through, and the long winters that make a warm hoodie feel like a necessity. A Montpelier shirt is how someone who grew up there, or moved there for a job or a quiet life, shows where they belong. It works for the local who's always at the farmers market, the former resident who moved to a bigger city and misses it, or the new arrival still learning the streets. Consider the details of their life: the walk to work, the weekend hikes nearby, the drive home past the hills. A mug suits the kitchen table, a tee suits summer, and a hoodie suits the cold months. You can make it theirs by adding a neighborhood, a street, or the year they moved in on a second line.
