About this moriarty gift
Moriarty is a small town and a surname in its own right, and most people who carry either one have a strong attachment to where they come from. A shirt with Moriarty on it is a way to claim that, whether the person still lives there or left a long time ago. Because the name is uncommon, it tends to get noticed, and a Moriarty shirt often starts a conversation about where it is and who's from there. Many designs have a second line, so you can add a year, a high school class, a street or a nickname that only the hometown crowd would catch. A hoodie works well for cold-weather visits home, and a mug suits the person who keeps a little piece of the place on the kitchen counter. If you're buying for someone who moved away, a hometown shirt is often the gift they reach for on the first trip back.
