About this morrice gift
Morrice is a small name for a place, and that's the point. A shirt or mug with Morrice on it is for someone whose hometown is a little too specific to find on a souvenir rack, so it gets read as a private joke by the people who know. Whoever lives there, or grew up there, probably has a reason they'd still wear it: a Morrice family picnic, a high school reunion, a town where everyone knows the same two streets. For a gift, the strongest move is a second line with the year they left or the year they came back, or the street or landmark they always mention. A Morrice hoodie is the thing they'll grab for the drive out of town at Thanksgiving. A Morrice mug is for the kitchen where they still make coffee like they're on a porch back home. Since this word is less widely known, lean on what the gift says about the person rather than what it says about the place.
