About this muscoda gift
Muscoda is a small town in southwest Wisconsin, on the Wisconsin River, and people who grew up there tend to carry it with them. It's the kind of place where everyone knows which school your cousin went to and where the Fourth of July parade is still a big deal. A Muscoda shirt is how someone who left wears their hometown back home, or how a family that stayed shows it's proud of where it lives. Since a town this size doesn't have a lot of souvenir shops, a personalized piece is often the only way to get one at all. Add a class year, a family name or the street they grew up on in the second line, and the shirt becomes about their particular corner of Muscoda rather than just the name on a sign. For the person who moved away, a mug or hoodie is a quiet way to say you still know exactly where they're from.
