About this new franklin gift
New Franklin is the kind of hometown that people leave for school or work and then keep wearing on their sleeves. A shirt with the town name is how a former resident claims it at a reunion, how a kid from the area shows off at a game, and how a newcomer starts to belong. Because the name is short, the second line does a lot of work: add the year someone moved away, a high school class, or the street they grew up on and the shirt starts telling their story. A hoodie suits the cold snaps that every small town knows, and an 11 oz mug fits the kitchen table where the local news gets discussed. For a gift that means something, pick the detail only the recipient would recognize and let the town name carry the rest.
