Palo Cedro Echo Stack mug

About this palo cedro gift

Palo Cedro is a small community in Shasta County, in the hills above the Sacramento River in Northern California. People who grew up there tend to carry it with them, whether they're still on the same back road or have moved to the Bay Area or out of state. A shirt or mug with the name is a way to say where you're from without a long explanation, and it lands well with anyone who knows the valley, the oak and pine country, and the small-town feel that comes with it. For a relative who moved away, a hoodie is the easy pick for cold mornings somewhere else. For someone who never left, a mug on the kitchen counter reads as a little bit of home. Add a second line with the years they lived there, or a street name if they want it, and the gift becomes theirs. Because the town is small, I know less about its local details than I'd like, so the design and the people who know the place are your best guides to what will feel right.
