About this philomath gift
Philomath is a small town in Oregon's Willamette Valley, and the people who live there tend to be proud of it in a quiet way. A Philomath shirt makes a good gift for someone who grew up there, went away to school, or still drives through on the way to somewhere else. The word itself is a pleasure to wear: it's an odd name that starts conversations, and most people will ask what it means. For the person who's moved away, a mug with their hometown on it is a small daily reminder of where they came from. For someone who still lives there, a hoodie is the kind of thing they'll wear on cold valley mornings. Add a year or a second line if you want it to mean something specific, like the year they were born or the year they moved back.
