About this pierz gift
Pierz is a small town in Morrison County, Minnesota, and the people who call it home tend to take that seriously. Most of them know everyone at the gas station, and a shirt that says Pierz on it is how they show up at the Friday fish fry, the county fair or the first warm weekend at the lake. Former residents who moved to the Twin Cities or farther for work often keep a Pierz shirt in the drawer for trips back, and kids who grew up there sometimes come home for holidays wearing it. Since it's a small place, a shirt or mug with the town name carries a lot of meaning without needing much explanation. Add a second line for the graduating class, the high school or the year someone moved back, and the shirt starts to belong to one person instead of the whole town.
