About this point marion gift
Point Marion is a small borough in Fayette County, Pennsylvania, on the Monongahela River, and the people who grew up there tend to stay attached to it even after they move away. A Point Marion shirt is how someone wears their hometown, whether they're back for a holiday, cheering on a local team in a neighboring town, or just telling a coworker where they really come from. Small towns mean a lot of people share the same few landmarks and memories, so a design with the town name on the front and a second line for a street, a class year or a family name reads as personal in a way a generic souvenir never does. A mug works well for the grandparent who still lives there, and a hoodie suits the former resident who misses the river valley winters. Since the town is small, the people who recognize the name will notice the detail, and that recognition is most of what makes this gift land.
