About this powhattan gift
Powhatan is a small town, and people who grew up there tend to hold onto that. A shirt with the town name is for the one who came back for the holidays, the one who still roots for the high school team, and the one who moved away and now explains where Powhatan is to every new coworker. Because it's a small place, a Powhatan piece tends to get noticed and asked about, which makes it a good conversation starter. A hoodie suits a winter visit, a tee works for summer, and a mug keeps the hometown in view on the desk. Add a second line for a neighborhood, a graduating class or a year they remember, and the design starts to belong to them specifically rather than to the map.
