About this pownal gift
Pownal is a small town in Vermont, and people who grew up there or moved away tend to hold onto it hard. A Pownal shirt is how someone shows where they're from without a long explanation, and it's the kind of gift that gets worn to the town fair, the high school reunion or the drive back up Route 7 for the holidays. Because the town is small, a gift like this often lands with people who have a real connection to the place: families who have been there for generations, or transplants who fell for the hills and the quiet. A few details help it feel personal. Add a family name, a graduation year or the street they lived on, and it stops being a generic town shirt and becomes their story. A hoodie suits the cold months, a mug suits the kitchen, and a kids tee lets a family start a new tradition with the youngest members.
