About this richard gift
Richard is a name with a lot of nicknames attached: Rich, Rick, Ricky, Dick, Richie, Chip. The person who goes by Rick at work might be Richie to their mom and Dad to their kids, and a gift that gets the name right tends to land harder than a generic one. Most Richards have heard every joke about their name by now, so a shirt with the name on it reads as affectionate rather than teasing when you pick the version they actually answer to. The name also shows up on birthdays, Father's Day cards and retirement cakes, which makes it an easy gift to plan around. For the Richard who likes his coffee at the same mug every morning, a name mug is the kind of small daily thing people keep for years. You can type the nickname into the text box and the preview will show you exactly how it looks before you order.
