About this rockford gift
Rockford is a city of about a quarter million people in northern Illinois, on the Rock River, and the people who live there tend to be proud of it in a practical way. Someone from Rockford has probably spent time at the river, has opinions about the winters, and knows the city as a place people work, raise families and come home to rather than a destination. A Rockford shirt says that without fuss. For someone who grew up there and moved away, a tee or mug is a quick way to say where they're from. For someone who still lives there, a hoodie for the cold months is the gift they'll reach for every week. Add a neighborhood, a high school class year or the street they grew up on in the second line, and the shirt becomes theirs rather than a generic city souvenir.
