About this scandia gift
Scandia is a small place, and the people who grew up there tend to carry it with them. It's the kind of town where a shirt with the name on it gets noticed at a gas station, a high school reunion or a family cabin on the lake, and the wearer gets asked where that is. If you know someone who grew up in Scandia, or who still lives there, a Scandia shirt says you paid attention to where they're from. Add the year they graduated from the local school, or the street they grew up on, and it becomes theirs in a way a generic town tee can't. For someone who moved away, a mug with the town name is a small daily reminder of home. Since this place is small, I'm not certain of its local details, so the best way to make the gift personal is to fill the second line with something only the two of you would recognize.
