About this schaghticoke gift
Schaghticoke is a small town in upstate New York, in Rensselaer County, and the name itself is a piece of local history, with roots in the Mohican language. People who grew up there or still call it home tend to carry that name with real pride, and a shirt with it on the front is a fine way to say so. A tee or hoodie works for a homecoming, a visit back to family, or a trip to the lake or the hills nearby. For someone who moved away, an 11 oz mug with the town name is a quiet reminder of where they started, and it can sit on a desk in another state without needing an explanation. You can type the town name into the main text box and check the preview for spacing, since a long word sits differently across each product. A second line works well for a year, a street, or a family name, which makes the gift feel specific to the person rather than just a souvenir.
