About this scotchtown gift
Scotchtown is a small place name, and that means the people who care about it tend to care a lot. Someone who grew up there, or whose family is rooted in the area, may carry the name with real pride even if they now live elsewhere. A shirt that says Scotchtown is a quiet way to say where you're from, the sort of thing that starts a conversation with another person who knows the same roads and the same faces. For a hometown transplant, a mug is a daily reminder of home, the first thing they reach for on a cold morning. Because the name is uncommon, a shirt or mug with it can feel more personal than a generic city design. Add a line with a year or a family name and it becomes a keepsake that means something specific to the person who receives it.
