About this sculpture gift
A sculptor usually lives in a studio that smells of clay, plaster or sawdust, and their hands are the first thing people notice about them. They spend long stretches on their feet, carving, welding or building armatures, and the hours they put in rarely show up in the finished piece. A gift that acknowledges the craft lands well. A tee or hoodie with the word sculpture on it says you understand what they do, and it's comfortable enough for a dusty studio day. A mug is good for the cold coffee that always gets forgotten next to the wet work table. If they've had a particular medium, like bronze, stone or ceramics, you can often type that into the second line of a design and make the gift theirs. Ask what they make before you choose, because a sculptor working in wood and one working in wire will want different words on the shirt.
