About this shadehill gift
Shadehill is a small place, and the people who come from there tend to hold onto it. A shirt with the name on it is how a hometown kid shows up at a reunion, a county fair or a family wedding and gets the nod from someone who knows exactly where that is. Because the town is small, a shirt is less a souvenir than a conversation starter: the person wearing it gets asked where they're from, and the answer is the point. For someone who grew up there and moved on, a mug with the town name is a morning reminder of home. For a relative who still lives there, a hoodie for the cold months says you're proud of where they're from. Add a second line for a graduation year, a street or the year they moved away, and the design becomes a record of their own history rather than a generic town shirt.
