About this sharpsville gift
Sharpsville is a small place, and people who grew up there tend to hold onto that. A shirt with the town name is how a former resident says where they're from when they're far away, or how a current resident shows up at a high school game, a summer festival or a family reunion without saying a word. Small towns also produce a lot of people who leave for school or work and come back for holidays, so a hometown gift lands well with them. Add a second line with a class year, a street, or the family name they grew up with, and the shirt becomes about their particular corner of the place. A mug suits the one who moved away and still checks in on the local news. A hoodie is the warm pick for a winter visit home. Since the town is small, you can usually tell at a glance whether the shirt will get a knowing nod, which is part of its charm.
