About this short gift
Short is a surname that tends to get a laugh the first time someone sees it on a shirt, and that's part of the fun for the people who carry it. A Short family reunion, a wedding where the whole clan wants to match, or a grandparent who has been answering to the joke for decades all make good reasons for a custom piece. The name itself is short, so a design with room to breathe works better than something crowded. Add a second line for a first name, a reunion year or the town the family started in, and it becomes theirs rather than a pun. Since Short is a fairly uncommon name, it's worth checking the spelling with the family before you order, since variants like Shortt or Shorte do exist. A hoodie suits a cool autumn gathering, and a mug suits the kitchen where the family ends up anyway.
