About this silex gift
Silex is a small place, and that's exactly why people who are from there hold onto it. If you know someone who grew up there, or who still calls it home, a shirt with the name is a way of saying you know where they're from. Small towns don't have many souvenirs, so a tee or hoodie with the town name on it often gets worn more than anything from a bigger city. For someone who left and misses it, a mug on the kitchen counter is a daily reminder. You can make it theirs by adding a second line, like a year they were born, a street they grew up on, or a high school class. That turns the town name into their own story.
