About this sistersville gift
Sistersville is a small river town in Tyler County, West Virginia, on the Ohio, and people who grew up there tend to hold onto it hard. Whether they still live along the river or left for school or work and came back for holidays, a Sistersville shirt is a quiet way of saying where they're from. A town this size doesn't have much in the way of souvenir shops, so a shirt with the town name on it tends to be the one thing a former resident actually wants. Add a second line with a graduation year, a street, or the name of the high school they attended, and it becomes something only people from there would fully read. For someone who moved away, a mug on the kitchen counter in the city they now live in is a small daily reminder of home. For a kid who's still getting to know the place, a kids tee or onesie can start the story early.
