About this sod gift
Sod is a small place name, and I don't know enough about it to tell you its history, its landmarks or its local slang, so this page sticks to what the gift is for. Someone from Sod, or someone who grew up near it, will recognize their hometown in a shirt that says Sod. A tee works well for a homecoming, a family visit or a town reunion, and a hoodie suits the cold months when they're going out in the same place they always did. A mug with the town name is a daily reminder of where they're from, and a kids tee or onesie can carry the name to the next generation of Sod kids. The way to make it theirs is the second line: a street, a year they moved, a school class, or a nickname only people from there would know. Add that detail and the shirt stops being a souvenir and starts being a message from home.
