About this south gate gift
South Gate is a city of roughly 90,000 people in southeast Los Angeles County, and a lot of its people carry the name with them wherever they go. A South Gate shirt is how someone represents the place they grew up, the high school they went to, or the neighborhood their family has been in for generations. It's a good gift for a former resident who moved away and misses home, or for someone who's proud of where they live and wears it everywhere. Lots of people from a city like this have a strong sense of local identity, and a shirt or mug that says South Gate on it is a simple way to honor that. Add a second line with a neighborhood, a school year or a street and the gift becomes personal. A hoodie suits the cold mornings of a new city, and a mug is the daily reminder of home for someone who's far away.
