About this south otselic gift
South Otselic is a small town in Chenango County in central New York, the kind of place where people know each other by first name and their family's history on the same road. A shirt with the town name is how someone who grew up there, or whose parents did, carries it with them to a college dorm, a job in the city or a summer visit home. Small towns have a lot of pride in what they have, so the gifts that land are the ones that feel like a piece of home: a tee for the drive back, a hoodie for the cold months up in that part of the state, or a mug for the kitchen of someone who moved away and still says they're from South Otselic. Add the year they graduated from the local school, or the name of their road, and it becomes theirs.
