About this stand-up comedy gift
The stand-up comedian in your life is probably the one who is always working on new material, reading the room at dinner parties, and treating a bad joke as a research project. They spend a lot of nights in small clubs and open mics, often for a crowd of twelve, and they keep notebooks full of bits that may never see a stage. A gift for them lands when it acknowledges the grind and the laughs. A T-shirt with Stand-up Comedy on it works well for the set they'll wear to a showcase or the drive home after a long night. A hoodie suits the cold walk from the bar to the parking lot, and a mug fits the early-morning writing session with coffee and a legal pad. Add a second line with a club name, a city, or the year they started, and the shirt becomes a little piece of their story. Stand-up is a hobby many people pick up on the side, so the gift can be playful as well as proud.
