About this swissvale gift
Swissvale is a small borough just southeast of Pittsburgh, and the people who grew up there tend to hold onto it. A Swissvale shirt is how they claim the place wherever they've landed, whether that's across town or across the country. Because it's a small community, a shirt with the borough name is the kind of thing that gets noticed at a reunion, a family picnic or a game in the neighborhood. For someone who moved away, a mug with Swissvale on it is a quiet daily reminder of home. Many designs have a second line, so you can add a street, a graduation year or a family name underneath. That turns a town name into something that belongs to one person and their history.
