About this thorntown gift
Thorntown is a small town, and people who grew up there tend to stay attached to it, whether they still live down the road or have moved hundreds of miles away. A shirt with the town name is how they claim it at a reunion, a county fair, or a visit home for the holidays. Small-town pride shows up in the little things: the high school that everyone still talks about, the main street they walked as kids, the way people wave from their cars. Because the name itself is the point, you can keep the design simple and let the word do the talking. Add a second line with a year, a graduating class, or the name of the person you're buying for, and it becomes theirs. For someone who left and misses home, a mug with Thorntown on it is a small daily reminder of where they're from.
