About this tingley gift
Tingley is a name most shoppers will only know from a map, and that means the person who'd wear this shirt is probably someone with a real connection to the place: someone who grew up there, lives there now, or has family scattered across it. Tingley sounds like a small place, so a city shirt is a way to say where they're from without a long explanation. For a local, it's a hometown tee for the drive back, a hoodie for winter errands, or a mug that quietly says home every morning. For someone who moved away, it's a reminder of a place few people outside it have heard of. Because the word is less common, you can put the name on a shirt and add a line underneath, such as the street, a school year, or the year they left, and it becomes a piece of their own story rather than a generic souvenir.
