About this tokeland gift
Tokeland is a small place on the Long Beach Peninsula in Washington, and that's exactly why people who grew up there or spent summers there hold on to it. A shirt with the town name is how they say where they're from, whether they're back for a family reunion, a beach weekend or a holiday. Because it's a small community, the people who love it most often moved away and miss it from somewhere much bigger. A hoodie is the right thing for a cool evening on the water, and a mug on a desk in another state is a daily reminder of home. If you're buying for someone who lives there now, a shirt with the town name and the year they moved in or the year they were born makes it their own. Many designs have a second line, so you can add a family name or a nickname to make it personal.
