About this troup gift
Troup is a small city and county in west Georgia, and the people who grew up there tend to carry it with them wherever they go. A Troup shirt is a quiet way to say where you're from: on a weekend in LaGrange, at a family reunion in another state, or just on an ordinary errand. Because the place is smaller than the big-city names people usually put on merchandise, a Troup design often gets stopped and questioned, which gives the wearer something to talk about. For someone who left for college or work and misses home, a Troup mug is a daily reminder of the town. For a relative who still lives there, a hoodie for the cold months says you're thinking of them. You can add a second line for a neighborhood, a street, a high school class year or a family name, which is usually what makes a Troup gift feel like theirs and not a souvenir.
