About this venango gift
Venango is a small place name, and I don't know much about its particular history, so this page leans on what a Venango shirt does for the person who wears it. Someone from a small town often carries that name with them long after they've moved, and a shirt or mug with the town on it is a quiet way to say where they're from. It works well for the homesick transplant, the grandparent who never left, or the friend who still drives back for the same reasons they left. You can add a second line with a year, a street, a school class or a nickname, which turns a place name into something personal. Keep the wording simple and let the town name do the work, since the shirt is about the bond rather than a list of facts.
