About this vestal gift
Vestal is a town in Broome County in New York's Southern Tier, close to Binghamton, and the people who live there tend to be proud of a place that's easy to overlook. A Vestal shirt is how they claim it, whether they're still in town, have moved to a bigger city, or are visiting family at the holidays. Because the name is less common than Boston or Chicago, a shirt with Vestal on it often starts a conversation, and that's part of its charm. Pair the town name with a second line for a graduation year, a high school class, or the street where someone grew up, and it becomes personal. For someone who has left and misses home, a Vestal mug is a small, daily reminder of where they're from. Hoodies work well for the cold upstate winters the town is known for.
