About this vineyard haven gift
Vineyard Haven is the harbor town on Martha's Vineyard, the one with the ferry docks, the clapboard shops along Main Street and the Tisbury Great Pond behind it. People who've spent summers there, or grew up there, tend to feel strongly about it, and a shirt with the town name is how they say so at the beach or back home. It's a place where people wear faded sweatshirts and sailing gear, so a hoodie or a soft tee fits the way they actually dress. For someone who has left the island for the mainland, a mug with the town name on it is a small way to start the morning somewhere familiar. For a family who returns every August, a matching set of kids tees with the town name makes the ferry ride feel like a tradition. Add a year or a street name on the second line to make it their own.
