Wabasha Echo Stack mug

About this wabasha gift

Wabasha is a small river town on the Mississippi in southeastern Minnesota, and people who grew up there tend to carry it with them. A shirt with the town name is how someone from Wabasha says where they're from when a stranger asks, or how a family back home shows up at the county fair, a high school reunion or a holiday visit. Because the name is short and distinctive, it works well on a plain front-and-center design, with a second line for a graduation year, a class, or the street or neighborhood they knew best. A hoodie is a good pick for someone who moved away and misses the cold river mornings, and a mug suits the parent or grandparent who still reads the local news in the kitchen. I don't know the local details well enough to name specific landmarks, so the best way to make this gift theirs is to add the detail only you know, like the year they left or the school they went to.
