About this weehawken gift
Weehawken is a small town on the Hudson, tucked between the Palisades and the river, with some of the best views of Manhattan you can get without paying Manhattan rents. People who grew up there often say the town is quieter than its neighbors and that they miss the waterfront walks, the hill streets and the sense that everybody knows the bagel guy. A Weehawken shirt is a way to claim that corner of New Jersey, especially for someone who has moved away and still says they're from Weehawken rather than just from Jersey. Because it's a small place, the name itself carries the gift, so keep the design simple and let the word do the work. A hoodie suits the walk along the river in cold weather, and a mug suits the person who wants their hometown on the kitchen counter every morning. For a baby born there or a family that has put down roots in town, a onesie makes the connection early.
