About this west concord gift
West Concord is a village within the town of Concord, Massachusetts, and people who grew up there tend to hold onto the name even after they move to the next town over. A shirt that says West Concord is how they claim the village specifically rather than just Concord, which is the kind of distinction locals notice right away. It suits someone who ran into the same classmates at the village center for years, or who still gets the mail at a West Concord address. For the one who moved away, a mug with the village name is a small daily reminder of where they're from. For a longtime resident, a hoodie for the cold months works well, since the village is the kind of place where you end up wearing your hometown on a long walk. Add a second line with a street, a school year or a family name to make it theirs.
