About this west memphis gift
West Memphis is a small city on the Arkansas side of the Mississippi River, across from Memphis, Tennessee. People who live there often feel a little overshadowed by their bigger neighbor, and a West Memphis shirt or mug is a quiet way to claim the place as their own. It suits anyone who grew up there, works there, or has family in town and comes back for the holidays. Because the name is also what many people have on their car window or their kitchen wall, a simple design with the city name tends to be the one that gets worn most. Add a second line with a school, a neighborhood, or the year they moved there, and the shirt becomes specific to them. For someone who has moved away, a mug with the city name is an easy everyday reminder of home.
