About this westfir gift
Westfir is a small town in Oregon's Willamette National Forest country, a place where most people know their neighbors and the trip to the grocery store is an event. Residents who grew up there or came back to raise a family often carry the town's name with real pride, and a shirt with Westfir on it is a quiet way to say where home is. For someone who moved away, a mug or tee with the town name is the kind of gift that gets worn on the first hot day and reminds them of the trees and the quiet. Since the town is small, a Westfir design is also a good way to mark a family connection: a grandparent, a reunion, or a class from the local school. Add a second line with a year or a family name, and the shirt stops being a souvenir and becomes theirs.
