About this wetumpka gift
Wetumpka is a small city on the Coosa River just north of Montgomery, Alabama, and the name itself gets people's attention, since it's an Alabama town name with a history older than the state. Someone from Wetumpka usually has a story about the river, the Coosa, or the old downtown that they'll happily tell you. A shirt with the town name is the easiest way to say where you're from, whether that's for a hometown pride moment, a trip back home, or a friend who moved away and still tells people they're from Wetumpka. Because the name is unusual, people will ask about it, which makes it a conversation gift as much as a souvenir. A mug works well for the one who stayed, and a hoodie is a practical pick for the one who moved north and misses Alabama winters that barely count as winter.
