About this weyauwega gift
Weyauwega is a small city in Waupaca County, Wisconsin, and people who grew up there tend to carry it with them wherever they land. A shirt with the name is how a former resident shows up at a class reunion, a county fair or a family visit back home, and it's an easy way to start a conversation with another Wisconsinite across the room. It's a small place, so a gift like this usually means something specific: a graduation from the local school, a move away, or a parent who still lives there and wants to see their hometown on a shirt. Many designs have a second line you can use for a graduating class year or a street name. For the person who moved away, a mug with the town name is a quiet morning reminder of where they started, and a hoodie works well for the cold Wisconsin winters they probably still miss.
