About this yaphank gift
Yaphank is a small hamlet in the Town of Brookhaven, on Long Island, and people who grew up there tend to carry the name with them wherever they end up. A shirt that says Yaphank is how they mark where they're from, whether that's for a hometown weekend, a visit back to see family, or just a reminder on a long commute. Because it's a small place, a gift that names the hamlet feels personal in a way a generic Long Island shirt doesn't. You can add a second line for a street, a school class year or a family name to make it theirs. Light and dark tees, a hoodie for cold mornings, and an 11 oz mug all carry the word well, and a baby onesie is a sweet way to pass the name on to the next Yaphank kid.
