About this bowman gift
Bowman is a last name that turns up in family trees across the US and the UK, so a Bowman shirt usually means a family that gathers, argues about the same stories, and shows up in matching tees at reunions. A gift with the name on it tends to land best with the person who keeps the family together, the one who organizes the picnic or remembers everyone's birthday. Add a reunion year, a hometown, or the line the family descends from, and the shirt becomes a record of who they are. Bowman also works for a new baby, whose onesie can carry the family name into the next generation. For the Bowman who moved far from the rest of the clan, a mug with the name is a small way of saying the family still counts them in.
