About this australian kelpie gift
Kelpie people rarely say they have a dog. They say they have a Kelpie, and then they tell you about the fence the dog taught itself to open, the rounds it runs around the backyard at dawn, and how it herds the kids away from the pool. These are working dogs from Australia, bred to move livestock, and the owners who love them tend to love the intensity that comes with it. A gift for a Kelpie owner works best when it shows you've noticed that. Put the dog's name on it, or the line they'd actually say out loud, like Kelpie Mom, Kelpie Dad or Powered by Kelpie. A hoodie suits the early-morning trail run or the long hike that keeps a Kelpie from redecorating the couch. A mug is a quiet nod at the kitchen counter. If the dog is a coworker on the farm or a teammate in agility, you can put that on the shirt too.
All australian kelpie gifts →- A tee with the dog's nameType your friend's Kelpie's name on the second line of a T-shirt. It's a small detail that tells them you know who the real star of the house is.
- A hoodie for early walksKelpies need a lot of exercise, so their owners are out in all weather. A hoodie with Kelpie Mom or Kelpie Dad gets worn on every one of those walks.
- A mug for the morning routineAn 11 oz mug with the dog's name is a good fit for the person who's up at dawn because the Kelpie insists on it.
- A onesie for the next generationFor a family with a new baby and a Kelpie already on the job, a baby onesie makes the dog's role official.
