About this bettendorf gift
Bettendorf is a city of about forty thousand people on the Mississippi, right across from Davenport in the Quad Cities. People who grew up there tend to talk about the river, the trails along it, and how small everything feels until you leave. A Bettendorf shirt is a way to claim that home, whether for a local who never left, a transplant who moved for work, or a former resident who misses Iowa winters. Because it's a smaller place, a shirt that just says Bettendorf already says a lot to someone from there. Adding a second line, like a street, a school year or a neighborhood nickname, makes it personal. For a gift, a hoodie suits the cold months by the river, and a mug works on the kitchen counter for someone who still checks the local news every morning.
