About this bokchito gift
Bokchito is a small town in Bryan County, Oklahoma, so the people who'd receive this gift are most likely locals who grew up there, folks who moved away and still call it home, or relatives who married into a Bokchito family. A shirt or mug with the town name is a clear way to say where you're from, and it lands well with someone who's tired of explaining that the town is in Oklahoma and not somewhere else. Small-town pride tends to show up in everyday moments: the first shirt to wear to a football game or a county fair, the hoodie for a cold morning at the farm, the mug on the kitchen counter next to the coffee maker. Many designs have a second line, so you can add a year, a graduating class or a family name underneath. For someone who left, a Bokchito mug is a small piece of home that gets used every morning.
