About this callicoon gift
Callicoon is a small town in Sullivan County in the Catskills of New York, and the people who grew up there or moved there tend to feel a strong sense of place. A shirt with the town name is the kind of thing a Callicoon native wears to the Delaware River, to a local event, or just to mark where they're from when they're somewhere else. Because the town is small, the name itself carries the meaning, and that's the part worth leaning on. Pair it with the year they moved there, the street they grew up on, or the family name, and the design becomes a record of their own connection to the place. For someone who left, a Callicoon mug on the kitchen counter is a quiet reminder of home every morning. A hoodie suits the cooler months in the Catskills, when a warm layer from home feels especially good.
